I just discovered this song browsing through YouTube and I just had to share it because Heart has to be one of my many all time favorite bands - and this song floored me.

Spring

So here in Michigan where I live - it is pretty evident that spring has finally arrived.  It is now getting warmer and the willow trees are starting to form little leaves along the tree.  Had to help my mom rake the yard today - and we have a very large yard and it kicked my ass.

It’s about 6:30 in the morning right now and everyone is sleeping.  I really dont’ have much to write about - I just feel like talking about what is happening now in this moment.  I had an unusual dream that is making me think about things going on in my life and why I’m stuck with where I am.  I don’t want to get into much detail about it - you can go to my dream blog if you want to read about what I was dreaming about - and some thoughts I had about it.

But I have to say, Spring is my 2nd favorite season.  I like Fall the most really - the colors of the leaves and the wonderful harvests where you can make so many wonderful and delicious things - and you start to wear the sweaters again in preperation of winter.  I was born in the Fall too so maybe this is why it’s so natural for me to enjoy Fall.

For some people, I think Fall may represent to them as a metaphor of death - with all the trees dying and getting colder as the sun moves farther away, and animals getting ready for hibernation.  While most of that is surely true - I like to think that Fall is the beginning of the Earth beginning a new transformation of new things to come.  Sure the winter sucks, but when Spring comes and the warm temperatures and the flowers and leaves on the tree come back - it’s such a rejuvinating feeling - and for me I think Spring should be considered the beginning of the year instead of January.  I feel that Spring is the birth of a new year and the exciting changes in your life that are coming.  As we know - the same flowers may grow and the same trees are there - but they are never the same - they are always different - yet to us they serve the same purpose.

Is that too deep for anyone? lol

I’m sorry - I’m just in such a mood right now where I feel a shift in life getting better.  Right now I’m listening to a quiet piano song and listening to the birds outside singing to each other.  I live in town but in a sort of secluded area where there are lots of trees and animals, and I’m feeling quite close to the sounds of nature.  There are a lot of birds here and it’s so unique to listen to them in the morning.  I guess I never really got the chance to wake up and smell the flowers - ya know?

No - I’m not on any drugs - I promise.

I’m baaaaack

Yeah I know some of you were giving me shit for not writing posts lately.  I guess I have been feeling like a zombie the past few weeks and i guess sort of disenchanted with writing.   We all get that way sometimes I suppose.

But I’m back - and I’m ready to get this party started again - so look for some new posts coming up.

Stupid Drivers

When you are driving down the road - going the speed limit - things are going good - and then some stupid asshole under 500 feet away whips out in front of you and makes you slam on your brakes. Even worse when they do that and THEN they are going slower than hell.

Conclusion: If you know you are going to be slower than shit and not at least doing the speed limit, keep your fat ass on that side road until I passed you. Otherwise, you will get pissed when the front of my car is fucking your car’s ass. It’s a lose-lose situation, k?

Litterbugs

Nothing bugs me more than when I’m in public places and people are too damn lazy to go find a garbage can to dump something in. This is especially when you are at a ball game or the theater when people are stashing shit under the seat. Sometimes I want to smash them down there with the garbage.

Solution: Find a fucking garbage can. Seriously. Is it really that hard? Can your arm not extend out so you can throw something away? I’m sure you do lots of other things when you extend your arm. Masturbating is probably one of them is it? I know you do it. And you like it, don’t you? I know you do. You probably do it more times than you do actually throwing something away. Do you throw your garbage in a trash can in your house or do you throw it on the floor too? Maybe I’ll come over and throw shit on your floor. Bitch.

Plastic

Why do companies wrap plastic products in plastic? And it’s not any plastic…it’s the plastic that you cannot get off! You have to take a pair of scissors or a knife and cut the shit out of it, ultimately making a dent or a scratch in your product. And what a waste of plastic.

Conclusion - This one is pretty obvious isn’t it?
